Dave Sullivan, District Attorney / As an independent contractor

Dave Sullivan’s site is one of my favorite projects. I was commissioned by a web solutions company, Glexia, Inc., to design & develop this site for a local political candidate in western Massachusetts. Given the political nature of the client’s needs, accessibility was a primary focus. The site is 100% W3C standards-compliant and uses a minimal amount of javascript.

I’m very proud of how the site turned out. Based on the client’s wishes, the site is entirely hand-coded with no framework, codebase, or CMS. A note on the Donate page: that file is actually hosted elsewhere to allow for form processing. Therefore, the HTML forms were written and styled by a third party.

Work Performed

  • Original/custom design — Designed a 100% custom interface featuring elements of “tactile design”
  • XHTML/CSS, jQuery UI — Hand-coded markup, style, and enhancement.
  • No Content Management — Per the client’s request, this project has no framework, codebase, or CMS. All conent is managed “by hand.”
