Roads & highways are a great example of where usability really matters. The success of the highway system lies in its consistency. In all 50 states, highway signs are identical. Drivers don’t guess or interpret. They just use.
Web Design “Strategy”
Design by itself is meaningless. It’s content that matters. People don’t visit your website because it looks nice. They visit because you have something they want. Your job is to give it to them. Content precedes design. Design in the absence of content is not design, it’s decoration.
HTML Email Sucks
HTML email sucks for 2 reasons: lack of support & it’s unnecessary. But hardly anyone knows that it sucks. Sales people think HTML email is great. It’s not. It’s the opposite of great. It’s horrible.
New Website: Spartans Drum Corps
Yesterday I added another website to my portfolio, The Spartans Drum & Bugle Corps. The Wordpress site uses a few plugins like Events Manager, SEO Ultimate, etc. The custom theme was designed just for The Spartans.
